A ceremony helps your loved ones to make the transition from a life with you to a life without you. Your partner becomes a widow, your children are potentially left without parents (after an intense period of taking care of you). Your process will confront everybody involved with their own fear of dying. A good ceremony helps them cope with their fears and life questions.
The ceremony celebrates your life. Together with your family, we bring up memories, stories, and music that bring you back to life. This can be part of a religious or non-religious celebration. Together we contemplate your legacy, and how you stay alive in those who were close to you.
Evening glow can help you design and organize a personal ceremony. We support your family in collecting memories and writing texts. If needed, we can take care of the music as well. You can also ask us to write a contemplative text, that connects the personal ceremony with broader existential questions.
